This children's wear project is based on the novel, Alice in Wonderland by the author, Lewis Caroll from the late 18th century. In the story, we can find the interactions between Alice and the stack of hearts lead by the Queen of Hearts. I am drawn to the illustration of the deck of cards and the colour story. This has influenced me to develop the prints for this collection which takes us through the story with a strong illustrious reference to the deck of cards and especially the Queen of Hearts. The collection is festive with rich fabrics like cotton satin over which the prints are digitally printed on. The season is Fall/Winter.
